Grandmaster Yaron Lichtenstein began to learn Krav Maga from the Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld. At that time he was only 13 years old. In 1978 he founded Bukan School along with Imi Lichtenfeld. In 1994, Imi awarded his master student the 9th Dan. This is the highest honor ever granted for Krav Maga.
